I’m a 35 year old advertising executive and husband to my kick a$$ wife Mariah. I’m learning to assume the responsibilities of “rock star” dad to my 16 month old daughter. Last but not least I serve as man to man’s best friend Moose our four year old Pek-a-Pom (who happens to look like vintage Brett Michaels.

I have no professional culinary training. I grew up watch Jeff Smith on the Frugal Gourmet on PBS and Wok with Yan and Yan Can Cook with Martin Yan on WPIX (NYC).  I just love food, eating well and when possible doing it without breaking the bank. I’ve been fortunate enough to learn a lot from some great home cooks and even more through trial and error.  I pride myself on the joy I get from feeding others good food.
